60s/70s Open Back Maxi Dress & Wrap

This late 1960s or early 70s maxi dress in denim blue features a mock turtleneck, defined waist, straight skirt with side-seam pockets, and open back. Matching ruffled shawl in the coordinating striped fabric of blue, red and green seersucker with yellow, black and white (a bit of a Reggae vibe). Unlined. Closes with two covered buttons at the neck and nylon Talon zipper at the back of the skirt. From the Peggy B. living estate.

Fiber/Care: 65%polyester/45%cotton, washable (and even better, no ironing allowed!)

Condition: as shown in the next-to-last-photo, there is some minor fading along the top of the shoulders and edge of the neck from being stored on a dry-cleaner's foam-covered hanger (grrr!)
