50s/60s Slim Skirt in Hot Pink

From the late 1950s or early 1960s, a slim skirt in fuchsia pink. True pencil skirt with figure-flattering silhouette. Inverted kick pleat for ease of movement. Fully lined. Closes at back with metal zipper and two snaps. Nicely finished. First photo shows truest color, but monitors may vary.

Note that the skirt hangs perfectly straight. Clipping it to fit Cecelia caused a slight twist that showed up in the photos.

Labels: none - looks to be home sewn, with skill

Fiber/Care: no tags - has a linen-like look reminiscent of raw silk, which usually indicates rayon, but this skirt's fabric has the feel of a wool or wool/silk blend - dry-clean

Condition: no flaws to note. we let out a tuck that at one side of the waist.
