Long-sleeved nylon crepe shirtwaist dress from the early 1960s.

  • Cool, crisp, easy-care fabric in a gentle shade of pink
  • White lace trim
  • Jewel neck with permanent bow, functional five-button "tuxedo-style" front placket with top snap closure and side zipper
  • Bust, vertical, and shoulder darts for shaping
  • Single-button cuffs.
  • Pleats below the waist give the knee-length skirt gentle fullness, to wear with or without a small crinoline (not included)
  • Deep hem allowance

Impressive workmanship on this dress. Every seam is neatly finished. From the Mullins Collection.

Labels: none - looks to be home sewn with skill and care

Fiber/Care: unmarked, nylon crepe, washable

Condition: there's a faint discoloration in the folds of the skirt at right front, barely perceptible, and may lift entirely with targeted treatment (we gave it only a gentle wash)
