From the late 1940s or early 1950s, a dress of the softest, most gossamer silk ever. Palest pink with delicate, tiny floral of fuchsia pink and light blue. Modified shirtwaist style has very short, kimono-cut sleeves with underarm gussets, big pearly buttons, a defined waist with an intricate cute. Wear the full skirt wear it with or without a crinoline, not included. The most heavenly soft and silky dress I've ever felt. From my own collection.

Labels: none

Fiber/Care: silk, hand-washable

Condition: Entire skirt was hemmed using vintage hug snug rayon tape (it's slightly uneven but you could easily redo to your preferred length). Rough patch at front skirt reinforced with interior silk patch which, as you can see in photo compilation, is basically invisible. Very minor underarm discoloration and color fade at the shoulders. Looks perfect.
