From the 1960s or early 70s, a wide-brim straw hat:
- Sunny yellow cello-straw
- Trimmed with a profusion of faux lilies of the valley in mostly yellow with touches of light blue and light green
- Interior grosgrain band
- Comes with its gorgeous Bonwit-Teller original hat box
Labels: Christian Dior (designer/manufacturer), Bonwit Teller (my favorite department store)
Materials: cello-straw and quality "silk" floral (all fabric, no plastic)
Condition: extremely clean, with none of the usual signs of wear on the interior, and only a tiny break in the straw at the back of the brim, as shown. hat box is also in very good condition, although it has yellowed a bit over time.
hat diameter ~ 15.5"/39cm, brim ~4.25"/11cm, crown height ~4"/10cm, with 21"/53cm inner circumference
