Sorry, this item has sold.

Lightweight, three-season swing coat in navy blue from the early 1960s. Three huge domed buttons slip through hand-finished bound buttonholes. Three-quarter raglan sleeves. Two patch pockets. Lots of darts at the upper back for subtle shaping. Hem tape, plus hem-tape "French tacks" to secure the lining. Another well-made garment from the fabulous wardrobe of Dorothy E.

Shown over a 1950s blouse (not yet listed, but inquire if interested), and a modern skirt (not for sale).

Labels: Desmond's Southern California, remnant of tag in side seam shows RN#23328, which indicates "Item House." This coat may have been a Desmond's store brand.

Fiber/Care: unmarked, probably a rayon blend, but feels like and may be silk, as Dorothy had expensive taste in clothing, dry-clean

Condition: not absolutely perfect, as the lining pokes out a tiny bit here and there along the hem, and we've snipped a few loose threads and retacked one corner of the label. generally quite good, with no obvious flaws.

*We've had this topper professional dry-cleaned and it's ready to wear.*

Garment Measurements:
- should work on a wide range of sizes, depending on how you prefer it to fit, but probably best on a small to medium, to get that swingy look -
