Black sheath dress from the 1960s has a dotted-net overlay with slightly shorter, ruffled hem. Sheath has bust darts and princess seams. Overlay is a full A-line shape with lots of swingy movement. Bow detail at upper bodice and at back. Closes with metal Tabit zipper, plus hooks&eyes. Lined at upper bodice. High-quality mod cocktail dress was Union made in the U.S.A. From the H. Smith estate.
