Make a statement in this truly fabulous coat from the late 1950s or early 60s. A shade of green between kelly and emerald (mid-tone, rich green without any yellow). Over-elbow puffed sleeves just right with or without evening gloves. Seaming detail at shoulders and bust provides shape. Slight swing silhouette reaches near-ankle (depending on your height) length. Fully lined in darker-green satin. Portrait collar. The single, large, covered button slips into a hand-stitched buttonhole. This coat would look wonderful with any hair color or skin tone. Wear it over your party dress day or night and be prepared to turn heads!

Fiber/Care: unknown, thick satin with silky satin lining, dry-clean

Condition: there is a fairly large, but inconspicuous, stain on the back (see photo), and a few scattered spots here and there, including a tiny bit of fading at the interior collar. nothing stands out or detracts from the overall beauty or wearability of the coat.
