50s Hand-Painted Mexican Circle Skirt

This is the real deal, Hecho en Mexico. A prototypical 1950s hand-painted full-circle skirt. Wrap design has inner hooks&eye closure with wrap-around over layer to tie as you please. Attached side-seam pockets. These skirts were extremely popular with fashionable tourists in the 50s. They got a lot of wear, and are becoming more and more difficult to find -- especially in fantastic shape like this one! The black is still deep, with little to no fading, and the colors of the fun, pots-and-cooking-implements design are super bright and clear. Just fabulous! Shown with and without a full crinoline, not included. Pair it with a fitted top, and flats or strappy heels. Ole!
