From the 1930s, a lovely light-medium blue crepe dress suitable for day or evening.
- Short, ruched, lace sleeves with covered-button detail, extending from saddle-style, no-seam shoulders
- Bodice with shape-defining gathers, piping extending around the modest sweetheart neckline, decorative covered-button detail, and snap lingerie stays
- Defined waist with matching, adjustable belt (with snap at owner's preferred size, but easily moveable to suit your own)
- Flowing, midi-length skirt
- Coordinating no-closure slip has bust "cup" seaming and straps of the matching lace so it disappears beneath the dress
- Dress is unlined, with pinked seams and metal side-zip closure
Labels: none - appears to be home sewn
Fiber/Care: feels like "cold" rayon with cotton-blend lace / recommend dry-cleaning
Condition: excellent, with one tiny spot at the upper back, one pencil-point-size hole in the lower front skirt, and some typical discoloration at the belt buckle, and the slip has a faint stain (doesn't show at all when worn). See composite image.
*This 1930s day or evening dress is freshly cleaned and ready to wear.*
