60s Mod Cocktail Dress - sm

SKU: 00533-006

A high-quality 1960s mod shift dress with superb construction. Deep raspberry pink (or fuchsia) fabric has tiny ribs (like faille or grosgrain). Sleeveless, with notched mandarin collar, three decorative rhinestone buttons, extra-deep angled bust darts, and jaunty bow set on the slimming center seam just above the hem. Fully lined and expertly tailored, with darts in all the right places. Closes with nylon CTC back zipper and two sets of hooks&eyes at the neck. From the Tawni W. collection.

Labels: only the cut edge of an unidentifiable label remains in a seam, but we would bet money this is a Gino Charles or Malcolm Starr dress, as it's very similar in cut, construction, fabric, and finishing to others we've had.

Fiber/Care: unmarked, feels like a high-quality wool/silk blend (possibly Alaskine), dry-clean

Condition: slight underarm discoloration; top button missing 1 stone, bottom button missing 2 (we tried to replace them, but did not have a good enough match)

*We've had this shift dress professionally dry-cleaned and it's ready to wear.*
