Dress and jacket set from the 1960s or early 70s in red, white, and blue bold floral print. The dress has a squared neckline and flattering A-line skirt with inverted front pleat. Thread belt loops. Closes at back with metal zipper. The no-closure jacket has perky self-ruffles along the entire placket and at the wrists. Both pieces are well constructed and fully lined. Union made in the U.S.A. From the Pam A. collection.

Labels: Rona (manufacturer), Garfinckel's (department store), 1963-'74 ILGWU

Fiber/Care: no tags, feels like a cotton or cotton-blend faille, dress lined in cotton, jacket lined in silky rayon or acetate, dry-clean

Condition: looks crisp and vibrant, with a few inconspicuous glitches, as shown in next-to-last photo (light stain at edge of bodice, spot at side near belt loop, stains on inside skirt lining). zipper is a bit ornery, but fully functional. original belt is missing and our modern replacement used in the photos is not included.

*We've had this dress & jacket set professionally dry-cleaned and it's ready to wear.*
