From the 1930s or early 1940s, a slim, slightly A-line skirt in taupe. Feels really good, with a slightly rough, but silky hand with a nice drape. Side metal zip. Celluloid button at tab waist. Unlined, with generous seam allowances. From my personal collection.
Labels: only a tiny remnant remains
Fiber/Care: feels like a very fine wool, but suspect a rayon blend / dry-clean
Condition: not perfect, but very good. there are two small areas of subtle color shift, as shown in photos (not conspicuous when worn with something tucked in, and invisible when worn with a jacket or sweater).
*This vintage skirt is clean and ready to wear.*
