From the 1930s, an art deco scarf or call it a silk shawl.
- in the muted tones of the era - yellow, cream, blue, and orange
- trompe l'oeil ruffle pattern
- scalloped hem with point at back
- hand-rolled edges
Labels: none remain
Fiber/Care: no tags, silk / washable (be careful)
Condition: not perfect, but with no conspicuous flaws to detract from the wonderful design. there's a long-ago darned area, a small hole, as indicated in the photos. there are a few very light spots and the neck area is discolored, which may very well lift with cleaning (we're offering this one as found). the colors are still vibrant and the fabric is sound.
