Sorry, this item has sold.

True vintage silk velvet jacket from the 1930s. Wonderfully soft and drapey, in a rich dark brown that's almost bordeaux. Lined by hand in a coordinating net fabric. Short sleeves have gentle gathers at the shoulders. No closure style with pointed front edges can be worn open or held closed with your pin. From the Martha A. estate.

Shown with our vintage Trifari brooch, not included. If you'd like both pieces (and they do look wonderful together), contact us for a special offer.

Labels: none - possibly home sewn

Fiber/Care: unmarked, silk velvet with net (possibly silk) lining, dry-clean

Condition: Some slight crushing to the velvet, as shown, with the worst just under the arms, as you'd expect.

*This bolero jacket came to us clean and fresh, and we gave it a thorough steaming for good measure. We opted not to expose it to additional harsh chemicals with additional dry-cleaning.*
