40s/50s Wide Brim Platter Hat in Deep Fuchsia Fur Felt

From the late 1940s or 1950s, an iconic New Look platter hat in deepest fuchsia (call it magenta) fur felt with a riot of high-quality silk floral. V-shaped side clamps secure it comfortably in place on the head. Interior grosgrain band. Scalloped, wired brim. Just magnificent.

Labels: only a "22" (size, but it's really one-size-fits-all) remains

Materials: high-quality fur felt with coordinating silk floral in a mix of velvet and satins, with tiny feathers
