Satin blouse from the 1940s in a sophisticated blue-gray shade. Typical construction details of the era include a sweetheart neckline, shoulder pads, gathered and slightly puffed short sleeves, bust and back darts for shaping, and sexy ruching down the front.
Labels: none - home sewn
Fiber/Care: no tags, rayon satin, recommend dry-cleaning
Condition: there's subtle color shift here and there, as tends to happen with old rayon, but it's far less evident in person. the fabric is strong and stable and there is no sign of wear at the underarms, which are in like-new condition.
*This top is clean and ready to wear.*
