40s Tilt Hat
From the 1940s, a tilt (or "toy") hat in dual-textured white straw with black ribbon trim and veiling. Topped with four faux flowers. Back grosgrain band with elastic goes on top of your hair. Veil can be worn down for drama, or tucked up onto top of hat. Grosgrain inner band.
Materials: synthetic (I think) straw and cotton/rayon grosgrain ribbon
Condition: no flaws to note beyond mildest signs of age
This hat sits atop the head at whatever angle suits you best. It does not need to "fit," making it one size fits all. Measures 7"/17.5cm diameter circle, 1.5"/3.75cm tall.
