50s/60s Black Cocktail Dress Seen in "The Founder"
This 1950s or early 60s cocktail dress appears, on me, in two scenes of "The Founder" starring Michael Keaton as McDonald's entrepreneur Ray Croc. Elegant, unfussy sheath features flattering bodice gathers, nipped waist, and slim skirt. Fully lined. Closes at back with metal zip. Versatile vintage with a verified cinematic pedigree. Union made in the U.S.A.
Note that dry-cleaning label in back view has been removed, and that hook&eye is functional but I neglected to close it for the photo.
Labels: only a 1955-'63 ILGWU label remains
Fiber/Care: no tags, rayon crepe, dry-clean
Condition: no flaws to note. a couple of open seams have been restitched.
*We've had this dress professionally dry-cleaned and it's ready to wear.*
