The sort of saturated pastel that's right on trend for spring 2012. Gorgeous little dress in a wiggle silhouette worthy of Joan Holloway. Goes from office to cocktails with a change of accessories. The color could be described as orange, deepest peach, or perhaps deep salmon. The textured plisse fabric has a subtly geometric or floral pattern, and a slight sheen. Lightweight, but with significant body to hold its shape. Sleeveless, scoop-neck sheath with double bust darts, nipped waist, and hip darts and gathers for shape. Thread loops hold removable self-fabric belt with fringed ends. Lined at upper half of skirt back only. Metal Mona back zip with top hook&eye. From the 1950s or early 60s and the Hull estate.
Labels: Another Ann Barry Jr.
