50s/60s Little Black Velvet Cocktail Dress by Tabak

Just the perfect little black dress. Deep black, high-quality velvet. Sleeveless, squared neckline. Intriguing design features elastic bands that stretch from the front bodice interior to the mid back, creating a shelf-bust effect without any bulk or discomfort. Flattering empire waist seam. Lined bodice. Lots of vertical seaming front and back for shape. Inverted kick pleat at back. Metal Conmatic back zip with top hook&eye. From the late 50s or early 60s.
