Lovely mid-1950s confection of a party dress in rows of gradually deepening blue lace. Sweetheart V-neckline, princess seams, dropped waist, and a full skirt to wear with or without a crinoline (not included). Lace on net over a layer of tulle, over a smooth, light-blue lining. Closes at the side with a metal Serval zipper. Psst... for the free-thinking bride, it's something old, something new (to you), and something blue. From the Sherman Collection.
Labels: A New Deb Frock
Fiber/Care: no tag, nylon lace and tulle over acetate lining, washable in cool water in a net bag (hang to dry, steam carefully) or dry-clean
Condition: a few subtle marks on the first row of lace at front and slightly lower and darker at back (although they are already inconspicuous, we suspect these will lift further with targeted treatment). slight glitch at center seam near waist seam at back we only noticed during photography (we will close any open seams before shipping)
*This party dress is freshly laundered and ready to wear.*

The dress is clipped a bit to better fit Delphine's 24" waist, and the bust darts are slightly high on her, indicating this dress has a "juniors" cut for a youthful (or slightly short-waisted) figure.
