50s Light Brown Taffeta Party Dress

Taffeta party dress with high-fashion details in a sophisticated mink brown (or perhaps cafe au lait) color. Complex, seamed construction features a wide, notched front neckline with V-neck at back, gusseted kimono-cut short sleeves, bust darts, and pleated, figure-enhancing hip details above the full skirt with tiny box pleats at the waist. Unlined. Pinked and taped seams. Metal "double Talon" back zip. From the 1950s.
