50s Set of 100 Perfume Nips in Unopened Original Box

Complete, unopened set of 100 famous-name fragrance "nips." Includes a perfume guide, list of included designer scents, how-to information, and a small travel tube for carrying a few nips in your purse or pocket. These patented, single-use vials of high-end perfume were very popular in the 1930s-1950s. They were used as marketing giveaways at businesses as diverse as insurance agencies and airlines. They were even available in vending machines. Vials are color-coded, so "Shocking" by Schiaparelli, for example, has an appropriate hot pink stripe. Of the 10 fragrances listed, the most recent debuted in 1948. But because nips are air-tight, the perfume inside should be as fresh and true as the day it was made.
