So pretty and very well made. White glass bugle beads in a checkerboard pattern, with white glass seed beads around the perimeter. Substantial, high-quality gold-tone frame with kiss lock. Lined in creamy white satin. Opens nice and wide for easy access. From the Bess L. estate.
Labels: none remain, though likely made in British Hong Kong in the early 60s
Materials: glass beads, rayon satin, gold-tone base metal
Condition: two small areas of missing beads (see 4th photo), residue from label or tag on interior (we did not try to remove it, as it doesn't show and we didn't want to risk damaging the otherwise perfect lining)
Dimensions: 4.5"/11.5cm wide x 3.25"/8.25cm high including clasp
