60s Lime and Ethnic Print Hostess Dress
Late 1960s or early 70s maxi dress is a riot of color. Bodice in bright lime green with deep scoop neck and long sleeves. Skirt sports a "psychedelic Jacobean ethnic" print (that's what we call it, anyway) in deep teal blue, white, yellow, and lime green on an orange-red ground. Straight skirt is a true wrap style. Darts for shaping. Wide, self-fabric belt with playful fringe. Unlined, with pinked seams and tape at waist and hem. Nylon back zip with top hook&eye. Union made in the U.S.A.
Labels: only a remnant and a 1963-'74 ILGWU label remain
Fiber/care: unmarked, poly double-knit, washable
Condition: only flaw we found is a short section of missing waist tape (see photo)
