60s Pink Prom or Party Dress

Well-made, fully-lined gown of linen-like fabric in shades of bubblegum over carnation pink. Sleeveless with open scoop neck. Snap bra stays. Empire waist with jaunty self-fabric bow. Straight skirt with back slit for ease of movement. Metal Talon back zip with top hook&eye. Lovely as is, but would also work well taken up to cocktail length or shorter (an inexpensive alteration).

Please note that this dress is sized to fit a petite woman or teen, or larger tween. It was too small on our slimmest mannequin, so we enlisted a petite 9-year-old to model who does not fill out the darted bodice properly. Dress is clipped significantly to fit her.

Fiber/Care: unmarked, probably linen-look rayon, acetate lining, dry-clean only

Condition: minor discoloration running down either side. not at all evident unless you stretch the dress out under bright lights. lining slightly stained at underarms. price reflects these imperfections.
