60s Psychedelic Print Caftan Robe
What a fun, colorful, and comfy piece from the psychedelic 60s! This caftan style robe closes with a single snap at the side of the neck. It looks like a nightgown gown and robe set, but it's a one-piece wrap-around style that allows you to stay modestly covered without any buttons, belts, or binding. Silky fabric in golden melon yellow with lime green, magenta, black, and white is crisp, with a lovely sheen. Side seam pocket. Unlined, with pinked seams. Would work as dressing gown, house dress, or a hostess outfit for those wine and cheese evenings at home with friends.
Labels: Fifth Avenue Robes by M.W. (manufacturer) for Lord & Taylor (high-end department store)
Fiber/Care: unmarked, feels like rayon or a rayon/silk blend, hand wash (or use your HE no-agitator machine on gentle cycle and line dry)
Condition: two teensy repairs -- one at chest and one at mid back (see photo)

Garment Measurements:
bust: 42"/106.5cm
waist: 44"/106.5cm
hips: 50"/127cm
length: 54"/137cm
Because of how it's constructed, this robe should fit a wide range of sizes. It fits skinny Delphine nicely, and is not clipped to her. But there is plenty of room and would easily fit a much larger figure, provided the bust is not too tight.
