60s Yellow Shift Dress

SKU: 00390-001
Sorry, this item has sold.

From the 1960s, a sunshine yellow sleeveless shift.

  • Feels wonderful in soft, lightweight fabrics.
  • Outer layer of delicate voile features faux crossover front with daisy trim, bust darts, and princess seams.
  • Full, separate lining has a lovely surprise -- a 2" wide band of scalloped crochet along the outer edge of the hem.
  • Metal back zip.
  • Made in the USA.

We show the dress clipped to fit Cecelia except in the first photo.

Labels: Westover New York, 1963-'74 ILGWU label

Fiber/Care: unmarked, feels like cotton (or cotton/silk blend) voile, lining is extremely soft and silky, but is most likely a synthetic such as acetate, trims are cotton, dry-clean only

Condition: a few very minor dings to note - teeny spot at edge of neck (see photo), and an even smaller one, which we only noticed under the photography lights and could not capture despite repeated attempts, at the front bodice. there are scattered spots along the interior hem edge of the lining (does not show, even with outer layer lifted). price reflects these minor flaws.

*This dress is professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.*
