Someone spent a very long time and did an excellent job crocheting this pretty day dress. We can't be certain if it was in the 1970s or the 1930s, so erring on the side of caution, we'll say 70s (but it could be 30s, as the dress has elements of both decades). Either way, it's comfortable, cool, and flattering. From my personal collection.

Labels: none - probably home made

Fiber/Care: all cotton with antique mother-of-pearl belt buckle / washable (reshape and lay flat to dry)

Condition: looks fine when worn, as you aren't under bright photography lights and no one is staring intently looking for flaws. but as you can see in the photos, there are some. stains and color shift in the usual spots (upper back, underarms) and on the side of the lower skirt, plus some loosed stitching in one underarm. I made the belt, adding an antique 1930s MOP buckle from my stash. A bargain as it's imperfect, but it has plenty of life left in it.

*This 70s does 30s crocheted dress is freshly cleaned and ready to wear.*
