I bought these hot pants (aka booty shorts) in 1985, at a trendy store in Lenox Mall in Atlanta, Georgia. I wore them to play Helga, the Kit-Kat girl, in a college production of "Cabaret" (check out the photo collage to see the shorts in action).

They didn't see any other wear, and have been in a suitcase in a closet for 35 years, hanging out with other memorabilia. Alas, my booty shorts days are well and truly over, so they're up for grabs.

Zebra print was huge in the 80s, during the whole "new wave" music era.

Labels: Sunup-Sundown made super-sexy swimsuits and other beach and club wear. Made in U.S.A.

Fiber/Care: 85% nylon/15% Lycra spandex / hand wash (or machine wash gentle, flat dry)

Condition: Clean and fresh with no flaws. Some lengths of white stitching along the leg openings was giving out, so I restitched as necessary and they're good to go!

Garment Measurements (taken lying flat and unstretched):
- labeled a Medium, but that's vintage sizing. They're more like an xs/s. -
waist: unstretched 21"/53cm, stretches easily up 26"/66cm
 front rise: 10"/25.5cm
 side seam: 8"/20cm
 inseam: 1.25"/3cm

Our items are not newly manufactured "vintage style" pieces. They are true vintage, at least 30 years old. Please read condition report provided above.
