Edwardian 1900s 1910s tooled leather frame purse. Gorgeous swallow and art nouveau floral design on front, plain on back. "Turn-Loc" closure works fine (to open/close, you twist the little dangling part -- don't force/pull without twisting).
Label: lock mechanism is stamped "Turn-Loc," strap is stamped "K"
Dimensions:
Height from top of frame to bottom of bag - 7"
Height from top of leather to bottom of bag (usable height) - 6-5/8"
Max width - 5.75"
Width at bottom - 4.5"
Handle drop - 6.25"
Depth - 1.25" (but expands and opens wide)
FYI, your smartphone will fit if it's not gigantic. My GalaxyS9 just fits, vertically, with case removed. My Note8 does NOT.
Condition: Minor signs of wear and age. Scuffs/rubbed areas on frame. Missing a few of the leather whip stitches (repairable) on the handle. There may have been a decorative element on the top of the closure at some point. Strong and wearable/usable. As with anything this old, be delicate and careful.
