Vintage Mid-Century Large Needlepoint Strawberry Frame Purse

• Will hold just about everything, including your tablet. Very roomy, expands easily.
• Design is on the front, the back, and even along the entire gusset!
• Red satin lining, interior slip and zipper pockets. 
• Decorative metal frame, brushed metal handle, oversized "kiss-lock" closure. At this point, the color is somewhere between gold-tone and silver-tone. Should coordinate with either.
• Most likely from the 1950s, based on what I know about the owner, but could be as recent as the early 1970s (less likely).

Materials: wool needlepoint yarn, synthetic satin, base metal

Condition: not perfect, but presents beautifully and fully functional. See combination image for the worst of the minor flaws -- some moth bites, some minor staining (may lift with a gentle cleaning, but not visible while held). There may be additional little nips here and there, but nothing obvious. If I had the right shade of beige wool needlepoint yarn, I'd repair it, as it would be fairly simple to accomplish! If you'd like me to try to make that happen for a reasonable fee, let me know and we can discuss it. Perfectly lovely and usable as is.

 7" handle drop (easily fits over arm and I can fit on my shoulder)
